Mission

The Branch (1) provides national and Center-wide leadership on data infrastructure for States and treatment providers; (2) administers CSAT's program for State/local data infrastructure development; (3) provides leadership for the provision of technical assistance and consultative services on evaluation of the grant process and data infrastructure development; (4) collaborates with other Federal, State, and local agencies, especially Institutes within the National Institutes of Health, in data infrastructure development; (5) maintains current expertise in alcohol and drug treatment services as well as related fields; (6) collaborates with all Branches in the Division of Services Improvement in implementing, monitoring, and evaluating grants, as well as on HIPAA implementation; and (7) publishes, communicates, and disseminates products related to outcomes monitoring and data infrastructure activities.
